Conversion Buddy is an everyday unit-conversion, reference and educational app designed to help users compare and understand measurements.

Practical guidance only

The app and website provide conversions, rounded examples, reference tables and general explanations for everyday convenience. They are not a substitute for official, professional, medical, engineering, legal or safety-critical information.

Accuracy and rounding

We aim to provide useful calculations, but results may be rounded for readability and memorable examples. Small differences can occur because of rounding, unit definitions, user input, regional conventions or the way another source presents a value.

UK and US units

Some units with the same name differ between systems. In particular, UK and US pints and gallons are not equal, and UK mpg and US mpg produce different figures. Users are responsible for selecting and interpreting the appropriate unit.

Safety-critical and product-specific information

Always confirm official specifications where accuracy matters. Tyre-pressure content converts units but does not recommend the correct pressure for a vehicle. Cooking conversions are practical guides and cannot account for every oven or recipe. Historical measurements may vary by place and period.

User responsibility

You are responsible for checking entered values, selected units, region profiles and results before relying on them for travel, purchases, cooking, driving, home projects or other activities.

While we aim to keep the app and website useful and reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness, suitability or error-free results.
